I don't recognize any change in art style. but they clearly becoming lazy with the background/environment design and going more generic type, a lot of manhua is like this, but this manhua was not like this and had high quality background design and environment without a lot of white space in between or characters feeling a bit copy pasted type of shit. shame. hope it return after a while.

This one was nice, I should probably continue the novel one of these days, I read up to 120~130 chapter all in one go, then stopped, while the Manhua covered up to around 90~100 chapter of the novel I think lol

Bai Qingling himself is the one who made the system, in the original timeline, he did not try to resolve all the misunderstanding with his disciples, junor sisters or Mu Xinlan and went to fight Mu Xinlan with the intention to intentionally fail and die by her, both to make it up to lying to her before and to help her achieve her dream of destroying he Demonic Physique he have.
Meanwhile MC through Mu Xinlan's ability to see some vague future saw a reflection of the future, he saw how Mu Xinlan could not bring herself to kill MC but later in future at the very end the Otherwordly demon attack and kill everyone and only Mu Xinlan and MC are left, but they could not save anyone and MC could not work together with Mu Xinlan to defeat the enemy coz she never trusted him anymore and refuse to work with him.
