It’s been over a week upload the chapter.
MC isn't actually weaker than the old man. He just got ambushed and sealed his power. The rank 2 wizard is the same as the emperor, not strong enough to overwhelm a rank 3 martial artist in a head on fight.
However, this guy is the first supervisor. He is much older, more knowledgeable and probably stronger then the old emperor, even at the same rank. Maybe not by a ton, tho.
I feel bs that he would first supervisor, with the story this far, turned out he really isn't
