At the far edge of a distant continent lies Oldenlandt, a land buried under eternal snow, ruled by Grand Duke Giesel Zvendard. With his cold demeanor, overwhelming magical prowess, and eerie rumors that monster blood runs through his veins, he is feared by all. Yet few know that what Giesel truly desires is a quiet life spent immersed in magical research, enjoying a warm cup of tea in a silent study. That modest wish is shattered by an unexpected bride from the southern frontier of Cornia.

In place of his runaway younger sister, the one who appears wearing the bridal wreath is Rensley Mallosen, an illegitimate son of Cornia. After briefly hiding to avoid exposing his identity, this bright and talkative knight, golden hair shining like sunlight, begins roaming freely through the castle, stirring small disturbances in what once seemed like an eternally silent ice fortress. Though casting him out for a fraudulent marriage would have been more than justified, Giesel finds himself unable to look away from Rensley, who smiles radiantly and chatters away even at the smallest kindness.

Rejected from birth and ultimately cast aside, Rensley came to Oldenlandt with nowhere else to go. Faced with Giesel’s quiet yet gentle care, he begins to harbor feelings of affection. But just as he becomes aware of his heart, the moment of parting draws near.
